Bucktail High losing principal

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA – Bucktail High School Principal/Athletic Director Mike Hall will soon be leaving his position for a superintendency at the Keystone School District in Knox, PA. Keystone Central School District Superintendent Jacquelyn Martin made that announcement at the KCSD board meeting Thursday night.

Dr. Martin said a principal search is already underway for Bucktail. “We will begin reviewing applications tomorrow and have several applications already.  We have developed a survey for parents, students and staff members to gather input.”

The superintendent said Hall is expected to join the Keystone district sometime in February.

She also said the district’s first Secondary Curriculum Showcase Night was held this week at Central Mountain High School and Career and Technical Center. The Bucktail Curriculum Showcase will be on Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 5:30 p.m.

The board meeting was a brief one, lasting half an hour; it was preceded by an executive session.
