LHU: Women’s Cross Country Caps Regular Season at Home & in Style
LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Lock Haven women’s cross country capped the 2022 regular season in style today as the Bald Eagles hosted the Go Fast River Run, and The Haven once again shined on the home course.
The Bald Eagles finished third of 16 in the talented team standings, and stood as the top team from the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) today.
Overall, Lock Haven saw three individuals crack the top-10 in the deep field. Leading the way for The Haven was Krista Jones (Friendsville, Pa./Elk Lake), who finished fourth out of 144 with a 6K time of 21:52.7.
Elaina Klinger (Danville, Pa./Danville) and Gwen Lloyd (Red Lion, Pa./Towson Univ.) finished seventh and eighth with times of 22:10.7 and 22.11.4, respectively.
Kiersten Lloyd (Red Lion, Pa./Red Lion) and Billie Jo Bollinger (Manheim, Pa./Manheim Central) rounded out Lock Haven’s top-five finishers today. K. Lloyd was 41st with a time of 23:35.1 and Bollinger was 46th with a run of 23:50.4
Lock Haven will return to action on Saturday, Nov. 5 at the 2022 PSAC Championships, hosted by Mansfield.
