CM XC teams in action at Selinsgrove

SELINSGROVE, PA – The Central Mountain Varsity Girls Cross Country team looked impressive Tuesday evening defeating Jersey Shore, Williamsport, Shikellamy, and Selinsgrove.  It was a total team effort that helped them defeat all four teams.  Four of the seven Lady Wildcats earned PR’s on the night which included Calienna Cardinal, Sophia Croce, Leanne Miller, and Gracie Johnson.

The Central Mountain Varsity Boys XC team meanwhile earned a victory over Jersey Shore, but fell to Williamsport, Shikellamy, and Selinsgrove. The boys gave a lot of heart and performed well overall.  Six of the 12 Wildcats earned PR’s on the night; they included Cody Etters, Damien Winners, Dylan Russell, Sam Wible, Nick Piergallini, and Robbie Andrews.

Both Wildcat teams are back in action on Saturday as they participate in the PHAC Invitational at Shikellamy.
