Walizer runner-up in D6 golf tourney

EBENSBURG, PA – Central Mountain freshman Reese Walizer finished as District 6 AAA runner-up at the district golf tournament at Ebensburg Country Club on Thursday. Her final score of 95 was one behind tourney winner Ashden Stitt of Hollidaysburg who shot a 94.

For Walizer the district second place finish in Ebensburg came less than 24 hours after she led the Central Mountain volleyball team with seven digs as the Lady Wildcats on Wednesday night went to Coal Township to defeat Shamokin by a 3-0 score.

Meanwhile on Wednesday the Central Mountain golf team finished with a final match win, downing Williamsport 103-139 to finish another outstanding season.
