Lock Haven football finalizes 2022 coaching staff

LOCK HAVEN, PA – Lock Haven head football coach Dan Mulrooney and the Bald Eagles have finalized the 2022 coaching staff with the recent addition of assistant coaches Rashad Craig, Jordan Dandridge and Matt Sullivan.

Craig will coach the defensive line, Dandridge will work with the outside linebackers and Sullivan will lead the running backs. The full and new-look coaching staff, along with each coaches’ respective duties are listed below.

Craig is familiar with NCAA Division II football and the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) as he played collegiate football at California.. While playing for the Vulcans, Craig played on the defensive line and special teams, and he was a member of the 2016 PSAC championship team. Prior to joining the Lock Haven staff, Craig served as an assistant coach at Saint Vincent College, working with the defensive line.

Dandridge, like Craig, played his collegiate football at Californialhu, and that Division II and PSAC experience will be important for Lock Haven. During his time at Cal, he was a two-time All-Conference wide receiver and a starter on the Vulcan squad that won the 2016 PSAC championship. In 2019, Dandridge, an offensive-standout, led the Vulcans in touchdown receptions and catches. During the spring of 2022, Dandridge coached at Saint Vincent College.

Sullivan joins The Haven staff after most recently coaching at Saint Thomas Aquinas College. During his time at Saint Thomas Aquinas, he served as the offensive coordinator, wide receivers’ coach and he spent time as the offensive line coach. Sullivan got his start in coaching at his alma mater as a student-assistant coach. Sullivan played collegiate football at the University of a Richmond, a Division I FCS program.

The Bald Eagles will open the 2022 season on the road as they head to Post for Week-1 action. The season opener is set for a 1 p.m. start on Saturday, Sept. 3. Lock Haven will return home to host Mercyhurst at 6 p.m. during Week-2 play (Sept. 10). The full 2022 LHU football schedule is available at GoLHU.com.
