Central Mountain softball falls at State College, 5-2
STATE COLLEGE, PA – Hits were few and far between for Central Mountain as they managed only three hits in the seven-inning Wednesday game, a 5-2 loss to State College. Two of the hits were solo home runs by Harley Kunes and the third hit was a bunt single by Caitlyn Watson.
Addie McKeague took the loss for the Wildcats pitching the complete game and facing 24 batters. She allowed five hits and struck out 11 and gave up 3 walks.
The loss was the first for CM after six straight wins to open the season. Coach Fred Caldwell’s team is to play at Midd-West on Tuesday, April 19.
