Author Terri Hough’s “Who’s in our Woods 2”
RENOVO, PA – Black bears, timber rattlesnakes, and elk can seem fierce and scary, but Renovo photographer and Pennsylvania native Terri Hough shows us just how fascinating they are up close and in the wild.
Hough explores the wonders of these majestic and beautiful creatures in exciting, up-close images in ‘Who’s in our Woods 2.’ This is a follow-up book to her first release, ‘Who’s in our Woods.’
Last Spring, Hough presented ‘Who’s in our Woods.’ to the Kindergarten students at the Renovo Elementary School in the Keystone Central School District. Hough read to the children in Mrs. Masullo’s class then she and her special guest author Donna Kshir handed out copies of her book to every student in the class. The children were very excited and quickly invited Hough back to visit.
The book is wonderful, easy to read for children. It teaches children not to fear wildlife that lives in their local woods. Hough takes the unknown of being scared of what’s in our woods and shows children just how fun exploring the outdoors and animals can be.
Hough is a member of the Chapman Wordweavers Society, created by bestselling authors and publishers Donna Kshir and Lee Roberts. The Chapman Wordweavers Society meets bi-weekly at the Renovo Library but has been on a brief pause due to Covid 19. The CWS writing group hopes to start meetings again once the Pennsylvania Covid 19 restriction is lifted.
Hough is expected to release her third book later this summer.
