John Michael Poorman “Jack”,65, of Renovo passed away Friday, December 3, 2021 at Haven Place in Lock Haven.

Born April 15, 1956 he was a son of the late Robert D. and Mildred (Flodin) Poorman, Sr.

Jack was a dental lab technician and he spent 35+ years perfecting his trade. He was also an all-around handyman.

Jack loved hunting and fishing. Whether he was fishing along a native creek with his fly rod or walking through the mountains with his rifle, he found peace with nature.

Jack was the father of John M. Poorman, Jr. of Renovo. As a father, there was no comparison with the love and devotion for his son. He dedicated his entire life to make sure his son had a better life. His son was his world.

In addition to his son, Jack is survived by two brothers, Robert Jr. and Richard; three sisters, Marcia, Debbie, and Carol; and one grandson, Johnathon M. Poorman. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Sue; and one nephew, Shawn.

Services are private at the convenience of the family. Maxwell Funeral Home in Renovo has charge of arrangements.

Memorial donations may be made to the Clinton County S.P.C.A. or the Salvation Army.
