ALTOONA, PA – In a fantastic District 6 game, the Central Mountain boys’ soccer team fell 2-1 to AAAA Altoona on Thursday. Wildcat senior Clayton Foster opened the scoring in the first half, getting around the keeper and calmly finishing to take a 1-0 lead.

After halftime, an unfortunate penalty kick was called against CM, and Altoona buried the PK to tie the game at 1-1. A little later, a great individual goal by an Altoona player made it 2-1. CM had a few chances late, but was unable to find the net.

The Wildcats, now 2-7, will be back on the road Saturday at Philipsburg-Osceola (6-3) for an 11 a.m. contest. Altoona is now 5-3.
