CM’s Redmond moves onto district golf finals

ALTOONA, PA – Central Mountain golfer Gunner Redmond shot a 76 on Thursday at the District 6 AAA sectionals at the Sinking Valley Country Club. His performance qualified him for the district finals on Tuesday, Sept. 28 at Scotch Valley Country Club.

Redmond finished in a tie for second place, one stroke behind medalist Max Wager of State College who posted a 75. State had the best team score at +26. Altoona was second at +35 and Central Mountain, with a +44, third in the six-team field.

 

Cut-off for advancement to districts was 81.
