CM girls’ soccer stopped by the weather
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP, PA – The Lady Wildcat Soccer team had its Monday game against Williamsport called almost as soon as it began. The game at Malinak Stadium was 1:40 old when storms in the area caused it to be called. The game will be rescheduled for a later date.
While the Lady Wildcats continue to look for a first win after an 0-3 start, head coach Ryan Velri said the squad continues to work and improve: ”
We are really proud of the progress the girls are making, we are getting better daily. They are working hard for each other and they have created a fun environment. We still have to develop the tactical skills both in attacking and defending principles to get the results we want but we are inching closer each day. We still have a mountain to climb, our schedule is not easy and it will be a grind each week. We have really enjoyed playing on our home field and seeing fans support us, that is a great experience for all!”
Central Mountain is to host Shikellamy at 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
