Sugar Valley golfers split tri-meet

MACKEYVILLE, PA – The Sugar Valley Rural Charter School golf team split a triangular at the Belles Springs Golf Course on Tuesday. Jersey Shore finished on top with a score of 375, the Phoenix a close second with a 385. The third team, Bald Eagle Area, did not post a team score.

The Phoenix on Monday will host a new event at Belles Springs, the first annual Susquehanna River Rivalry featuring Sugar, Jersey Shore and Central Mountain. A rotating trophy will be awarded the team winner, plus an award for the event medalist.
