Phoenix golf edged out

MACKEYVILLE, PA – The Sugar Valley Rural Charter golf team lost a toughie on Thursday, defeated by a talented St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy team from Centre County, the final tally 331-396. :  

Individual scores were as follows: 

Tim Peters (SJCA) – 74 

Dimitri Cornali (SJCA) – 78 

Corbin Homan (SV) – 80 

Chris Warner (SJCA) – 88  

Gavin Vonada (103), Noah Pletcher (105) and Garret Hampton (108) had a great showing for The Phoenix.  

The Sugar Valley squad is now 3-1 on the young season.
