Central Mountain’s Perry earns All-American status at Fargo Nationals

FARGO, ND – Incoming Central Mountain freshman Dalton Perry added another medal to his wrestling laurels on Monday, achieving All-American status with a seventh place finish in the 16u 120 pound bracket at the prestigious USA Wrestling Nationals at the Fargo Dome. There were 107 competitors in his weight class. This was the first time in his young career he has moved up to 120 pounds.

In January of this year Perry took the title at the Tulsa Nationals, competing in the 117 pound bracket in the 15u division.

Two other Central Mountain wrestlers also competed in the freestyle division. Soon-to-be sophomore Luke Simcox and soon-to-be senior Taylor Weaver each finished 2-2. Weaver and soon-to-be sophomore Griffin Walizer will be competing in the Greco-Roman division at Fargo starting on Tuesday.
