South Renovo to select new mayor

SOUTH RENOVO, PA – The borough of South Renovo is expected to meet Tuesday night to select a new mayor. The position became vacant upon the recent resignation of the previous mayor, Bob Cozzi.

A borough spokesman said the candidate selected by the present council members would serve through the end of this calendar year, completing the remainder of Cozzi’s term. So far, one person has submitted his name for consideration, it is understood.

Efforts to reach Cozzi relative to his resignation were unsuccessful.
