Takin’ it to the street: Lock Haven’s pedestrian mall up and running

LOCK HAVEN, PA – Downtown Lock Haven’s pedestrian mall had some great Saturday weather for its first weekend in June on the street. Multiple downtown restaurants had on-street dining throughout the day.

E. Main Street from Jay to Vesper Streets is blocked off from vehicular traffic Friday as of 3 p.m., to stay that way until 10 p.m. Saturday on the second and fourth weekends in June and August, the second and fifth weekends in July; and all four weekends in September.

A variety of special events will be incorporated during many of those weekends. These include the first Lock Haven summer concert series presentation on Friday, June 25 at the Main/Grove Street stage, featuring the Lindy Sisters. A parade is also planned for that weekend.
