Sullivan County defeats Bucks, 15-0

LAPORTE, PA – Sullivan County had the better of Tuesday’s baseball game with visiting Bucktail, the Griffins plating 14 runs in the bottom of the first inning on the way to a 15-0, 4-inning win.

Two Sullivan County pitchers held the Bucks to two hits; they came from two Buck freshmen, a single from Kyler Friese and a double from Braylen Fantaski. Two Buck pitchers held the Griffins to four hits, but were hampered by 10 walks and two hit batters.

Now 1-7, the Bucks will be home Thursday with Northwest from District 2, then a Saturday 1 p.m. contest at Millville (1-3-1. Sullivan County is now 3-2-1.
