CMVT defeats Bucks, 16-5

FARWELL, PA – The Bucktail baseball team put some points on the board Monday, but it was not enough as Columbia-Montour Vo-Tech went home with a 16-5, 6-inning win. The Bucks dropped to 1-6 with the loss and head to Sullivan County on Tuesday, home Thursday with Northwest, then on to Millville for a 1 p.m. Saturday contest.

The Bucks picked up three hits, all doubles, from Kayden Friese, Gunner Sockman and Ashton Intallura. Sockman had two RBIs, Friese and Will Kelley, one each. Kelley also had two steals, Sockman with one.

Three Buck hurlers shared the mound duties, hurt by 15 walks given up. They did strike out seven.
