Commissioners seeking vaccination info

LOCK HAVEN, PA – The Clinton County Commissioners, at their Monday work session, expressed exasperation at the county’s difficulty in getting updated information from state government relative to vaccinations to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Commissioner Angela Harding said the county has been involved in the effort for timely information for four months. She meanwhile encouraged county residents to get vaccinated, noting as of April 19 all adults will be eligible.

Harding said since March 25 there have been 135 new COVID cases in the county among those tested; additionally there have been two deaths. She again urged that county residents continue to wear masks and get vaccinated so as to mitigate the virus spread.

Harding and board chairman Miles Kessinger reported that CVS in Lock Haven and Jersey Shore among vaccination sites now available in the area.
