Lady ‘Cats Edged by Warrior Run, 2-1
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – It was a tough home loss for the Lady Wildcat soccer team as they were edged by Warrior Run, 2-1 Thursday night at Malinak Stadium.
All the scoring cam in the second half with Central Mountain’s lone goal coming from Abby Brinker with an assist from Hayle McCollin. Both of the Lady Defender scores were the result of penalty kicks.
Avery Baker had 2 shots on goal while McCollin added 1 shot for CM. Warrior Run had 9 shots on goal and held a 13-3 advantage on corner kicks.
Maddison Briggs had 5 saves for the Lady ‘Cats on the night.
The loss takes Central Mountain to 1-7 on the season. The Lady Wildcats will next host Montoursville, Tuesday, October 6, 2020.
