Floruss Places Fourth at D6 Championships

HOLLIDAYSBURG – Central Mountain senior, Jason Forusss had a good day at Scotch Valley Country Club for the District 6 AAA Boys’ Golf Championship tournament. Floruss, a four time district qualifier, turned in a round score of 86 to finish fourth. Unfortunately, that effort fell short of Floruss advancing to the state tournament as only the top player in District 6, John Olsen of State Colleg with a score of 77 will advance to the PIAA West Regional Championship. Floruss finished third in the district in 2019.

State College defeated Hollidaysburg for the D6 AAA team title 333-345. State College Team advances to District 6, 8, 9,10 Sub-Regional at Treasure Lake Silver Course on Thursday October 22, 2020 at 10 a.m.
