Bulldogs Edge Wildcats, 2-1
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The Jersey Shore boys’ soccer team came to Malinak Stadium on Tuesday night and took home a hard-fought 2-1 victory over the Wildcats for their effort.
Breck Miller opened up the scoring with a goal at the 32:32 mark of the first period then CM’s Nate Brinker answered back for a goal, assisted by Bronson Brungard with 17:58 remaining before the break to knot the score at 1-1.
Kelvin Probst with 13 saves in goal for Central Mountain.
Jersey Shore would add the winning goal on a penalty kick by Connor Cornelius in the second half for the win.
The win takes the Bulldogs to 2-5-1 while the ‘Cats drop to 2-4-1.
Central Mountain will be off until Monday, October 5, 2020 when they will host Danville.
