Clinton County United Way receives $1000 from Feger Insurance

On Thursday, May 14th, Ben Green, Executive Director of the Clinton County United Way, gladly accepted a donation in the amount of $1000 towards the COVID-19 Clinton County Community Recovery Fund established by the CCUW.  The check was presented by Jeff Feger, owner of the Feger Insurance Company in Lock Haven.  Feger Insurance is an Erie insurance agency.  $500 was given by Jeff Feger with $500 being matched through Erie Insurance’s program named Erie Agents Giving Back.

The Feger Insurance agency also made a contribution of the same amount and generosity to the Lock Haven Catholic School.

Executive director Ben Green said, “It’s very heartening to see how our community really has risen to the challenges posed by the Coronavirus.  We’re lucky to live in a community where, even though everyone is struggling, people like Jeff are still thinking about how they can help.  We’ve received strong community support for our fund, and now with Feger’s contribution, we’ve raised over $10,000 which will be given to local non-profits who are providing direct services to people affected by the Coronavirus.”

If you are an individual and would like to contribute, please visit the CCUW’s Facebook page www.facebook.com/ClintonCountyUnitedWay or their website www.clintoncountyunitedway.org and click on the COVID-19 Clinton County Community Recovery Fund.  If you are a corporate sponsor and would like to support the fund, please contact Ben Green CCUW Executive Director at bgreen@clintoncountyunitedway.org  Checks can also be mailed to the Clinton County United Way, 232 E.
