Roseann Stitt – Obituary

ObitArtRoseann Stitt, 70, of 360 East Park Street, Lock Haven, passed away Monday, August 4, 2014 at Williamsport Regional Medical Center.

Born on June 17, 1944 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late Lloyd and Laura Shank Young.
Roseann was married to Roy C. Stitt who survives in Huntingdon.

She was a self-employed residential cleaner for 35 years, retiring at the age of 62.

Roseann attended the First Baptist Church, Lock Haven.

She enjoyed caring for her family through her cooking and baking.

In addition to her husband, Roy, Roseann is survived by two sons: Arnold T. (Ladonna) Killinger of Dover and Carl J. (Dianne) Killinger of Ephrata; two daughters: Teresa L. Meadows (Daniel Auman) of Lamar and Tammy E. (Nevin) Mumma of Lititz; a daughter-in-law, Susan M. Killinger of Ephrata; two brothers: Willard Young of Reading and Leroy Young of Lock Haven; four sisters: Maxine Chubb of Mill Hall, Janet Dershem of Lock Haven, Betty Young of Clarence, and Mildred Hunsinger of Lock Haven; fourteen grandchildren; and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by a brother, James Guy Young and two sisters, Shirley Lewis and Mary Hurneman.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2014 at 2 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 210 North Vesper St., Lock Haven, with the Rev. Richard Hawley officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church.
