New Distribution Site in Lock Haven for Thursday Food Bank
LOCK HAVEN – The New Love Center has launched “pop-up pantries” in Lock Haven and Renovo to families in need because of COVID-19. The success of last Thursday’s initial offering in Lock Haven was so well received that a larger site has been located for the next distribution, this Thursday, April 2.
The new location will be at the parking lot of Clinton Plaza, off 124 E. Walnut Street, in the vicinity of the Goodwill Store and STEP’s Clinton County Community Center. Project backers are asking the public to enter from Walnut Street and exit on Vesper St. across from MacIntyre Chevrolet. The opening time will be 2 p.m., volunteers asked to be in attendance for set-up at 12 p.m. Thursday.
