Floyd H. “Skip”  Stewart – Obituary

Floyd H. “Skip”  Stewart, 58, 232 8th St., Renovo, PA died Friday, March 6, 2020 in UPMC,  Williamsport  Hospital. Born January 10, 1962 in Bennington, VT. he was the son of the late John H. and Barbara H.Goodrich Stewart. On September 7, 1985 in Des Moines, Iowa he married Christine J. Willis who survives at home. From 1981 until 1989 he served in the U. S. Navy and was discharged   as a 2nd Class Hull Maint. Tech.  From 1989 until 1993 Skip worked at A.C.I. in Renovo and from 1993 until he retired in 2010 he worked at Jersey Shore Steel as a welder.

Skip was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Renovo Lodge # 495 F & A.M.; B.P.O.E. Lodge # 395; and the Western Clinton Sportsman’s; all of Renovo, PA.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, going to camp and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter:  Pauline A. (Jason) Coleman, Shintown ,  one son: Kyle D. (Amber) Stewart, North Bend, PA , four sisters:  Juli (John) Delaney, Brookville, PA; Kathy  (Len) Himton, Montoursville, PA; Mary (Terry) Delaney,  and Patricia (Frank) Campbell both of Renovo, PA, two  brothers : John H. (Joyce) Stewart, Hyner, PA and Robert (Michelle) Stewart, West Renovo, PA and     three grandchildren: Janice C. Coleman, Kahner D. and Kohen M. Stewart

He was preceded in death by a brother, Gary D. Stewart in 2014.

A memorial service honoring the life of Floyd H. “Skip” Stewart will be held Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church, 7th Street, Renovo, PA with Martha Sykes officiating.

A Masonic Memorial Service will precede the religious service.

Military honors will be rendered by the Bucktail Det. Of the Marine Corps League

Memorial contributions are suggested to either the 1st United Methodist Church or the Clinton Co. SPCA through the funeral home.
