Wildcats Ready for D6 Duals (Live Audio Stream)
TYRONE – A much improved Central Mountain wrestling team will find out today how much it has improved since a mid-January, 40-22 loss against State College. The Wildcats, as the No. 2 seed, draw the No. 3 seed Little Lions in today’s 2 p.m. District 6 team duals semifinal at the Tyrone High School gym.
Central Mountain enters the meet with a 10-3 mark, State College at 9-4. The other semifinal features top-seeded Mifflin County (13-1) vs. No. 4 seed Bellefonte (11-4). The winners will meet for the team dual title right after the semifinal round is completed; the final winner advances to Hershey’s Giant Center for the PIAA Team Dual Championships beginning Thursday, Feb.6.
The record-online will offer live audio stream of the match with John Lipez and Tom Elling offering up the call to bring you all the action. The stream will go live approximately 15 minutes before the match begins. Keep in mind the AAA session will begin 15 minutes after the conclusion of the AA session. If the AA session would run longer than expected, it could delay the start of the semi-final match between State College and Central Mountain. The championship final will be held directly following the semi-final matches.
