Malcolm “Bud” Floyd Stone – Obituary

Malcolm “Bud” Floyd Stone, 87, of Duncannon, PA, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2020 in Homeland Center, Harrisburg, PA.

Bud was born in Renovo, PA on September 20, 1932 and the son of the late Malcolm E. and Lola (Floyd) Stone.

A proud U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War, Bud was also a 32nd Degree Mason, a member of Renovo Masonic Lodge #495, F & AM and the Reading Consistory as well as a member of Snyders United Methodist Church, New Bloomfield, PA. He retired as a crane operator with Bethlehem Steel Corp. Steelton, PA, and also a retired Ford master mechanic for McGuire’s Ford, Duncannon, PA.

He was the widower of Barbara Jo (Sanders) Stone.

Surviving are his three daughters, Justine (Tink) Cummings, of Renovo, Cynthia M. (Dave) Stewart, of Southport, FL and Gale Ann (Jerry) Roberge, of Rowlett, TX. Nine grandchildren, Gary, Jeffrey, Jessica, Heather, April, Dave, Paxton, Tyler, Collin and fourteen great-grandchildren and special cousin, Galen Stone, North Bend, PA as well as several other cousins.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, January 13, 2020 in the Michael J. Shalonis Funeral Home, Marysville, with Rev. Bill E. Pipp officiating.

A visitation will be held from Noon to 1:00 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will immediately follow in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Marysville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Homeland Hospice, 2300 Vartan Way, Suite 270, Harrisburg, PA 17110.
