Doris A. (Stone) Hevner – Obituary
Doris A. (Stone) Hevner, 79, of Hyner passed away Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Bucktail Medical Center, S. Renovo.
Born November 10, 1940 in Hyner she was a daughter of the late Jerry and Ruby (Cummings) Stone.
She was married to Philip E. Hevner, Jr. who died November 27, 2011. They celebrated 51 years of marriage together.
Doris was a member of Hyner United Methodist Church. She enjoyed hummingbirds and loved animals.
Surviving are two sons, Jerry Hevner of Ashtabula, Ohio and Paul (May) Hevner of Lexington Park, MD and a daughter, Doreen Hevner of Hyner. Four grandchildren Nicholas, Coltan, Kimberly and Eric and two great grandchildren Tristain and Braylon.
Also surviving are a special sister-in-law Barbara Stone of Hyner.
Doris was preceded in death by a brother Miles Stone and three sisters, Vivian Sackarnoski, Shirley Jobson and Betty Stone.
The funeral service will be private at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Hyner United Methodist Church.
Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Hyner.
