Selinsgrove Edges Lady Wildcats, 3-1 on Senior Night

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The Lady Wildcat soccer team hosted Selinsgrove at Malinak Stadium Tuesday for senior night. The Lady Seals came out on top of a hard-fought 3-2 contest.

Selinsgrove built a 2-0 lead in the first period when Avery Baker found the back of the net with 2:14 remaining before intermission to narrow the gap 2-1.

In the second half, Central Mountain tightened the defense, though the Lady Seals tacked on another goal for the 3-1 win.

CM keeper, Hailey Swortwood had another double-digit night at goal for the lady Wildcats.

Seniors, MacKenzi Walsh, Madison Alley, Madison Courter, Violet Lindsey, Hailey Swortwood, Amelia McCloy, Zoe Eck and Yuridra Castro-Palma were honored in a special pregame ceremony for their contributions to the Lady Wildcat soccer program.
