Lady Braves Hand CM 3-0 Loss
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – It was another struggle for the Lady Wildcat soccer team tonight as they fell to visiting Shikellamy, 3-0.
Central Mountain spent the majority of the game back on defense trying to fend off the relentless Lady Brave attack. In-all, Shik had 12 shots on goal, thankfully, CM keeper, Hailey Swartwood had a dozen saves or the damage would have been much worse for the Lady Wildcats.
Shikellamy converted their first goal 30:25 into the game and garnered 7 other shots on goal in the first period to hold a 1-0 lead at the break.
The Lady Braves added two more goals in the span of two minutes in the second period the first coming at 25:15 and the last coming at 24:17 remaining in the contest.
Central Mountain is now 0-4 overall, 0-3 in PHAC play.
The Lady Wildcats will next face Selinsgrove on the road on Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019.
