Lady Wildcat Soccer Falls to Mifflinburg, 4-0

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The Central Mountain girls’ soccer program hosted Mifflinburg at Malinak Stadium on Wednesday evening, suffering a 4-0 loss to their guests.

Mifflinburg spread out the scoring with 2 goals in the first period, then duplicated that effort in the second period for the 4-0 shutout win.

Central Mountain spent much of the game in their defensive end of the field as Mifflinburg was relentless on advancing the ball on offense.

Mifflinburg had the edge on shots on goal, 5-1 with CM keeper, Hailey Swortwood collecting 5 saves on the night.

The loss takes Central Mountain to 0-3 on the season, 0-2 in PHAC play.
