Pentz Selects Juniata College as Next Step
BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Central Mountain senior, John “JT” Pentz has committed to attend Juniata College after graduation. There he will further his athletic career with the Eagles’ football team, while he pursues a degree in Sociology and Psychology.
Pentz was a starter and captain for both the Wildcat varsity football and basketball teams. He has played football since age 7, and looks forward to the opportunity to play at the next level. Pentz is slated to see action as a wide receiver with the Eagles.
Pentz played in 10 games in his senior season with Central Mountain garnering 23 catches for 283 yards, 12.3 yards per catch and 28.3 yards per game. Pentz also saw time on the defensive side of the ball collecting 32 tackles, 16 were solo stops.
Pentz hopes to pursue a career in law enforcement after college as a detective or state trooper.
Juniata College is located in Huntingdon, Pa. and competes in the Centennial Conference.
