Downtown Rotary Gives Gifts to Veterans

LOCK HAVEN — Veterans in three care facilities received bags of little gifts from the Rotary Club of Downtown Lock Haven.

The Rotarians look forward to this project each year, first filling the gift bags with fun and useful items, then taking their holiday spirit on the road to visit veterans. From puzzle books to toothpaste, the gifts are carefully chosen to make daily life more pleasant.

“When we personally deliver the holiday bags, we get to meet local heroes and let them know their service is not forgotten,” Club President Marianne Lotfi said.
