Meadow Brook Hands Lady Bucks 43-28 Loss

FARWELL – It was a tough night for the Lady Bucks as they fell to visiting Meadowbrook Christian school, 43-28.

Bucktail started out great, leading Meadowbrook 14-10 after the first period but struggled with their offense in the middle quarters, trailing Meadowbrook, 31-19 with only one quarter remaining in the game. Bucktail managed to bounce back a bit in the final quarter scoring 9 more points, though Meadowbrook tallied 12 to protect their lead for the 43-28 win.

Myka Poorman led Bucktail with 11 points followed by Emily Cross with 7, Jullie Green with 4, Tessa Cowfer with 3 and Carlie Gentzyel with 2 points. Sarah Rathmell dropped in a free throw for the Lady Bucks in the game.

The loss takes Bucktail to 1-4 on the season and will next see action on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2018 when they host Northern Potter.
