A Little ‘Clean’ Fun
MACKEYVILLE – The Second Annual Kels Lomison Mud Run was conducted at the Clinton County Fairgounds on Saturday, June 14, 2014.
Though the sun never broke through the cloud cover for the event, spirits were bright as youngsters of all ages mastered the daunting course collecting a bit of Clinton County soil in the process.
The addition of new obstacles on the course offered more opportunity for racers to get down and dirty while displaying their athletic ability.
Families, friends and neighbors created groups and teams to share in the challenge of the race passing along the traits and skills cherished by the event’s namesake. Lomison always lead by example when it came to family, friends and giving back to the community.
