All-Star Alumni Girls’ Soccer Game Set for Oct. 6

Former Lady Panthers, Lady Bobcats and Lady Wildcats Join Forces for Fundraising Senior Project

BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – Central Mountain senior starter for the Lady Wildcat girls’ soccer squad, Hunter Barger, chose a very challenging endeavor for her senior project. An all-star soccer game featuring alumni from Central Mountain, Bald Eagle-Nittany and Lock Haven High School girls’ soccer programs.

The game will be played at Malinak Stadium this Saturday, Oct. 6 at 7 p.m. and will feature many familiar names from the three historic programs that have a strong tradition of District 6 and PIAA state playoff appearances.

In all, 35 alumni will be participating divided into 2 teams. The Blue team will be coached by former CMHS head coach, Ryan Veltri and the Black team will be skippered by current CMHS head coach, Cole Black.

The game will be played in two 30 minute periods with a 10 minute intermission.

Concessions will be available, along with t-shirts for sale and raffles. Anyone wearing an AYSO jersey or shirt will get into the game for free, other than that the cost will be $2 for students and $3 for adults at the gate. The gate will open at 6 p.m.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the non-profit organization In Your Shoes and the Central Mountain Lady Wildcats soccer program.
