House Fire Cause Undetermined, But Not Suspicious

LOCK HAVEN – Lock Haven fire chief Bob Neff said the cause of a Monday night fire at a log-frame home along the Lusk Run Road is undetermined but not suspicious.

Neff said a state police fire marshal on Tuesday visited the scene at the Larry and Penny Strouse home at 1514 Lusk Run Road. It is believed the fire started in the vicinity of a fireplace, the cause unknown. No one was injured in the blaze and firemen from about a dozen area fire companies responded. They were at the scene for nearly five hours.
