Lady Wildcats fall 59-20 to Wyoming Seminary
BERWICK – The Central Mountain girls’ basketball team fell to Wyoming Seminary, 59-20, in the consolation game of the Nespoli Tournament hosted by Berwick High School on Saturday.
Once again the Lady ‘Cats struggled with their offense trailing WS 36-11 by the half. The second half wasn’t much better as Central Mountain failed to score in the third quarter, but finally held their own, outscoring the Wyoming Seminary reserves 9-8 in the fourth quarter for the final 59-20 score.
The Lady Wildcats were led by Talyn Fredericks with 10 points, Madyson Smith with 4 points and Marissa Moyer netting 3 points. Avery Eckley scored 2 points and Madison Courter had a free throw to her credit.
