Travel Alert: Clinton County I-80 Rest Areas Buildings Closed Temporarily

CLEARFIELD – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is alerting I-80 drivers that restroom buildings at the eastbound and westbound rest areas in Clinton County are closed at this time. The rest areas are located at mile marker 194 in Greene Township.

The closures are necessary due to treatment system issues. The parking lots at the rest areas will remain open during daylight hours but will be closed at night. Repairs to the treatment system are underway and PennDOT expects the rest area buildings to re-open this weekend.

Motorists traveling, I-80 are being alerted to the closures through message signs along the roadway.
