bucks-tennisFARWELL – The Lady Bucks Tennis is out to a strong start as they are 3-0 after Friday match against Galeton. Lady Bucks are being lead by a strong cord of senior single players which are Hailey Risley, Renee Werts, Amanda Tyrrell and Ebonee Spriggs. With the strong racket of sophomore Sarah Rathmell. This start has given Coach Dan and Alision Heiser the opportunity to get the first time tennis players here at Bucktail some doubles play during the match.

Bucktail has been winning the matches in all four single seeded matches. In the doubles Bucktail had more positive play from some of these new freshman that are learning the game. They are Tessa Cowfer, Myka Poorman, Emily Cross, Sara Kepler and Kaylie Casper.

Great way to round out a busy week. The girls worked hard and played as a team. Excellent senior leadership and positive play by the freshman and sophomores. Now we take the weekend off and get back to practice on Monday and prepare for our match on Tuesday with Montgomery starting at 4 p.m. at the Bucktail courts.
