Donna Rae Ward – Obituary
Donna Rae Ward, 54, of Jersey Shore, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016 at Gatehouse Hospice of Divine Providence Hospital, Williamsport.
Born on May 24, 1961 in Lock Haven, she was the daughter of the late William M. and Beverly Andrus Workman, Sr.
Donna was a 1979 graduate of Lock Haven High School.
On March 5, 1999 she married James Ward, Jr. who survives.
Throughout the years Donna held positions at both Truck Lite, McElhattan and West Pharmaceutical, Jersey Shore. Donna worked with her husband for Blue Chip 2000 until she became ill in October.
Donna loved her grandchildren, and they adored her.
In addition to her husband, Jim, she is survived by two children, Sabrina A. (Angelo) Caris and Joseph M. Caris, both of Lock Haven; two step-children, Brandie (Charlie) Ward of Maine and Jamie Ward of Colorado; nine siblings: James (Beth) Andrus of McElhattan, William Workman of Lock Haven, Theodore Workman of Johnstown, Paul (Missy) Workman of Lamar, Patty (Pete) Workman of Lock Haven, Frank (Jessica) Workman of Avis, Thomas Workman of Lock Haven, Betty Carla Kitchen of Lock Haven, and Gregg Workman of Lock Haven; 9 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews whom she cared for over the years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two siblings, William M. Workman and Audrey Burkholtz.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 2 P.M. at the Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington. Burial will follow at Linnwood Cemetery, McElhattan.
Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 1 P.M. until the time of the service.
A gathering with friends and family will follow the services at Nature Park in Wayne Township. Please bring a dish to share.
