FARWELL – The Bucktail High School Student Council has once again decided to recognize our outstanding students with the Student Spotlight of the month. Each month, teachers are asked to nominate a boy and girl who best represent the academic qualities and values of a Bucktail Buck. Below are the eleventh grade winners for November and December, along with some comments from their teacher on what makes them outstanding students.

Jessica Stidfole: Jessica’s favorite subject in school is Anatomy, but her favorite teacher is Ms. Bradley. Her favorite thing about school is learning new things and getting her grades up. Her ideal future job is to be a nurse. Outside of school, Jessica enjoys babysitting, spending time with her friends, and enjoying her favorite food, which is pizza. Ms. Bradley says, “Jessica is putting forth great effort in the classroom everyday. She works hard, is polite, and shows a whole new enthusiasm towards school this year.”

Mr. Kelley says that DeShawn deserves the spotlight for arriving into a completely different environment from Philadelphia and doing well academically and socially. Mr. Ransom says DeShawn performs well in class and is an active participant daily.
