bucks-footballNEW BLOOMFIELD — The banged-up Bucktail Bucks needed a win and got one big time when they traveled deep into District 3 and came home with a 53-0 romp over Carson Long.

The victory snapped a 3-game skid for the Bucks, now 2-3, and set them up for a home game this Friday night with 1-4 Canton.

The Bucks put it all together against outmatched (0-2) Carson Long, piling up 382 yards on the ground, led by freshman Blake Cannon with 182 yards, senior Anthony Intallura with 85 and Tanner Riggle with 46 yards. The defense did its part with interceptions from Josh Knauff, Keifer Mason and Ryan Prebble; Aaron Lucas had a fumble recovery for a touchdown.

The game was a make-up contest from Saturday, postponed due to weather conditions.
