BALD EAGLE TOWNSHIP – The Central Mountain Lady Wildcats, the No. 1 seed in the District 6 Class 3A volleyball playoffs, continued their dominant postseason run Monday night with a sweep over Bellefonte.
Central Mountain entered the semifinals with a 13-1 record, while Bellefonte came in at 5-11.
The Wildcats took Set 1, 25-16, with strong play.
They rolled through Set 2, 25-8, before finishing the match in a tightly contested Set 3, 25-23, securing the sweep and a spot in the district championship.
Central Mountain will play Hollidaysburg who defeated Somerset 3-0 Monday night on Wednesday, October 29, at a time and location to be announced.
