Wildcat Boys Place Sixth at District 6 Championships

REEDSVILLE – The Central Mountain boys cross country team turned in a strong performance at the PIAA District 6 Championships held at Indian Valley Elementary on Saturday, finishing 6th overall.

Senior Damien Winner led the Wildcats with a 24th-place finish, clocking in at 17:59.80. Shane Walker followed in 31st with a time of 18:49.60, while Gabriel Houser ran a new personal record of 18:51.20 to place 32nd.

Rounding out the top five for Central Mountain were Shayden Hill (35th, 19:11.40) and Che McCallister (36th, 19:25.30).

Other Wildcats achieving new personal records included William Stout (20:33.20), Cody Cardinal (21:06.70), Owen Rippey (22:28.80), and Conner Gray (27:55.40).
