Obituary – Robert “Bob” Hunter, Sr.

Robert “Bob” Hunter, Sr., 88, of Pedricktown, passed away on September 15, 2025.
Born in Renovo, PA, Bob was the son of the late Alvin and Lucille Valeria Hunter. After graduating from Renovo High School, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. He went on to retire from BF Goodrich, where he worked as a chemical operator.
Bob was a man who cherished life’s simple pleasures. He loved spending time in nature, faithfully feeding the birds and sitting on his bench, soaking in the peace around him. A proud Philadelphia Phillies fan, he cheered on his team with unwavering loyalty. He also enjoyed his trips to Atlantic City, getting together routinely with his friends for lunch, and in his younger years, he found joy in hunting with his friends in his hometown of Renovo. Bob was a profoundly devoted husband, father, and friend. He will be remembered for his kindness to everyone he met and the joy his presence brought to those around him.
He is survived by his devoted wife of sixty-two years, Angela (nee Pagnotto); his children, Robert Hunter, Jr., Melanie Hunter, Kelly Buoncuore and her husband Mike, and Keith Hunter; and his brother, Jim Hunter. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, Yvonne Jackson, Jessie Cannon, Sylvia Walizer, Ron Hunter, and George Hunter.
Services will be private, with burial at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Swedesboro. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project at support.woundedwarriorproject.
