LHU Men’s and Women’s Track & Field programs earn USTFCCCA All-Academic honors

NEW ORLEANS – The Lock Haven men’s and women’s track & field team both earned United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Academic team honors and six student-athletes from the men’s team earned All-Academic individual honors, the organization announced for the 2024-25 season.

The women’s program secured a 3.35 grade-point-average as a group, while the men posted a 3.25 team GPA to bring home the honor, respectively.

The men’s program also had six athletes earn the All-Academic individual honor.

To be eligible, athletes must have finished the season in the top-50 in the nation in their respective event, or have competed at the NCAA Championship.

Nick Bellomo (Psychology), Peter Bellomo (Health & Physical Education), Ryan Miller (Biology), Matthew Muthler, (Applied Computer Science), Aydan Summers (Biomedical Science) and Eric Zalar (Health & Physical Education) brought home the honor.
