Obituary – Sherry L. Zimmerman
Sherry L. Zimmerman, 62, of Lock Haven passed away Thursday, July 10, 2025 at her home.
She was born February 28, 1963 in Lock Haven.
On March 7, 1981, she married William E. Zimmerman, Jr., who survives.
Sherry was a member of Holy Spirit Parish.
She was also a member of the 40 & 8 as well as both the Lock Haven Women’s and Mixed Pool Leagues.
Sherry enjoyed sewing, crocheting and creating Diamond Art.
Along with her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Serita (Lynn, III) Hakin of Mill Hall; siblings: Wendy (Chris) Gavlock of Bellefonte, Matt (Sylvia) Shilling of Louisiana and Mike Shilling of Flemington; three grandchildren: Lydia Quiggle, Braxton Marconi and Lynn Hakin, IV; and her mother-in-law, Cecelia Zimmerman of Lock Haven.
In addition to her parents, Charles and Patsy Shilling, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tiffany Zimmerman.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2025 at 11 AM at St. Agnes Cemetery, Glenn Rd., Lock Haven.
Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 6 until 8 PM at Donald G. Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington.
