Clinton County District Attorney’s Office News February 11, 2025: Man Faces 13 Counts of Child Sexual Assault, Cases Bound Over
LOCK HAVEN— Richard Bean, 55, last known address 1000 Follies Road in Dallas, PA, has been charged with 13 counts of various sexual assault offenses against underage children. Sgt. Dennis Gill of the Pine Creek Police Department filed the charges, which include:
•Rape of a Child (Felony 1)
•Statutory Sexual Assault (Felony 1)
•Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse with a Child (Felony 1)
•Aggravated Indecent Assault of a Child
•Corruption of Minors (2 counts, Felony 3)
•Indecent Assault with a minor under 13 years of age (2 counts, M2)
•Indecent Assault with a minor under 16 years of age (2 counts)
•Unlawful Contact with a Minor (2 counts, Felony 3)
On February 10, 2025, defendant Richard Bean and his attorney, Patrick Johnson, waived his right to a preliminary hearing, allowing all charges to proceed to court. His arraignment is scheduled for March 18, 2025, at 8:30 a.m.
Bean remains in custody at the Clinton County Correctional Facility, with bail set at $250,000.
